My personal philosophy on Boudoir…

Long story short-It all started when my wife was 30 weeks pregnant with our second child… She was the most gorgeous under 5 foot, short torsoed woman I’d ever seen. But like most of us, she couldn’t see it through her own eyes. I sought to change that… and we did so after we shot a quick maternity boudoir session in our own bedroom.

See- oftentimes we are our own worse enemy. It is tough to fall in love with yourself when we are so critical of our imperfections that we sometimes forget that these are things that make us truly unique and who we are. We fall in the trap of believing in fake social media filters, altered appearances, and smoke and mirror lifestyles and then start to question why we can’t achieve (often) unattainable visions of perfection.

This is the beauty in how I shoot boudoir… I believe that from the perspective of a true professional you can see yourself in a new light, with the help of some kick-ass photos and a new mindset. From day one we work together to discuss your goals and vision for the shoot as I break down philospilospy in the transformation process- that being we start with the way you talk yourself… How you perceive yourself on a daily basis leading up to the shoot. And at the shoot, we promote the positive aspects of the photos and discuss how we can embrace the latter. And after years of shooting, posing, and coaching clients you will thrive in a comfortable carefree environment where oftentimes it will just feel like you and the music. Then once the work is revealed you will be floored with the work we created.
